General bank financing in Japan was up 2.3 percent on year in September, the Bank of Japan said on Thursday – can be found in at 528.660 trillion yen.
That went beyond expectations for an increase of 2.2 percent, which would have been unchanged from the previous month.
Excluding trusts, bank loaning once again was up 2.3 percent on year – beating forecasts for a gain of 2.2 percent, which would have been the same from the August reading.
Providing from trusts got an annual 2.2 percent or 68.904 trillion yen, while providing from foreign banks increased 49.7 percent on year or 3.220 trillion yen.
