Bulgaria’s inflation accelerated in September after staying constant in the previous month, initial information from the National Statistical Institute showed on Monday.
The consumer price index increased 3.6 percent year-on-year following 3.5 percent in both July and August.
The transport sub-group logged the most significant boost of 8.4 percent, followed by dining establishments and hotels with a 5.1 percent boost. Energy expenses grew 4.6 percent.
Clothing and shoes was the only sub-group signing up a decline.
Compared to the previous month, the CPI increased 0.3 percent in September.
